Experience Early Christian Life In Holyland

Holyland is a 15-acre Christian theme park in Orlando, Florida depicting life in early Jerusalem. Trinity Broadcasting Network bought Holyland in 2007 and introduced weekly non-denominational Christian services and bible study classes for the public. Like many Orlando theme parks, Holyland is family-friendly with costumed staff mixing freely with guests.

This theme park does not have rides; instead, Holyland features exhibits and shows with biblical themes. Holyland is performance-oriented, with actors depicting Biblical events so guests walk from show to show, instead of from ride to ride. Popular attractions at the park include the Crystal Waters, a light and fountain show and Smile of a Child Adventure Land where kids can climb a rock wall and cool off at the misting station. Billed as a museum park, most attractions are educational, focusing on the history of the Bible.

Several themed restaurants and gift shops, including a bookstore are scattered throughout the park. Visitors may also purchase bottled water and shaved ice at various locations.

Holyland is open daily from 10:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. and closed on Sundays, Mondays and major holidays. While Holyland is closed on Sundays, church services are held at the Theater of Life inside the park at 10:30 am every Sunday. The park gates are open to admit guests for services.

Holyland is approximately four miles away from Universal Studios and 15 miles from Disney World. A wide range of accommodation options are located near the park. Parking at Holyland is free for guests.
