Pete’s Silly Sideshow

The Magic Kingdom in Walt Disney World has recently undergone a renovation and enlargement of its Fantasyland area. The new Storybook Circus, which replaced Mickey’s Toontown Fair, is part of this expansion. Storybook Circus offers a colorful remembrance of an old fashioned circus with decorative circus big tops and delightful attractions made to excite the smallest of Disney guests. Pete’s Silly Sideshow, which opened October 4th, 2012, is part of the new Storybook Circus.

Pete’s Silly Sideshow draws guests of all ages in with a promise to thrill with “amazing curiosities.” A character meet and greet located in a circus tent, Pete’s Silly Sideshow is colorfully adorned to delight the young and young at heart. Step through the opening, which playfully resembles a large, open-mouthed Pete, and come face-to-face with some well-known characters turned circus performers; The Amazing Donaldo, Minnie Magnifique, Madame Daisy Fortuna and The Great Goofini, a stunt pilot gone goofy. Lights drape from the ceiling and tent posts “prop” the large canopy, giving visitors the illusion they are really inside a circus tent. Each character’s stage is decorated to fit their circus entertainer personality while a Cast Member stands faithfully by, waiting to take a souvenir picture with the adoring public. Pete’s Silly Sideshow offers the unique opportunity to meet many of your favorite Disney Characters under one big roof!
