37 Flavors of Paradise
Populating the waterfront landscape of Walt Disney World’s Downtown Disney since June of 2009, Paradiso 37’s menu offers guests a “taste of the Americas”, with casual-dining cuisine spanning the 37 countries that make up North, Central and South America. Main entrée prices range from $13-$34 and some frequent guest favorites include the jalapeño burger, blackened mahi mahi sliders, Baja fish tacos and a unique concoction from the bar known as the “Corona-ita”. The most recommended item from both the staff and guests, hands down, is the “From the Land” platter—a delectable combo of Argentinean skirt steak, spicy chorizo skewers, chicken flautas, black beans and cilantro rice.
The restaurant itself boasts both an international wine bar and a specialty tequila bar containing, you guessed it, 37 kinds of tequila, helping make their signature frozen margaritas so enjoyable. Perched on the picturesque Village Lake, its outdoor circular deck provides a great location for people-watching and a chance to dine alfresco while drinking in the Magic Kingdom’s Wishes firework show over the water.
At sunset, their tequila bar comes to life with brilliant-colored lights, which signals it’s time for the nightly live entertainment to begin. Live shows take place on Sunday-Thursday from 6pm-11:30pm and Friday-Saturday from 6pm-12:30am. More information, including a full entertainment calendar, can be found online at www.paradiso37.com. To make sure you don’t get caught without a table, reservations are recommended and are available over the phone, through their website and OpenTable.com
