Legoland Florida opened in Fall 2011 inWinter Haven,Florida.  The theme park is located approximately 45 minutes from the Orlando-based theme parks.  Legoland Florida rests on 150 acres and contains more than 50 rides, attractions, and interactive shows geared towards children between the ages of two and 12 years of age.  The park encourages creativity and interaction between parents and their children.

Tickets to LegolandFloridaare $75 per adult and $60 for children ages three through 12.  Tickets for adults over the age of 60 are $65.  Parking is $12 per car, $15 per camper, and $6 per motorcycle.  Preferred parking is available for $20 per vehicle.  Buses and bicycles park free. 

Annual memberships are $99 a year for children and $129 for adults for unlimited annual membership.  For an additional $30, an upgraded membership can be purchased that includes free parking.  Ambassador memberships are available for $2500 and include unlimited admission to all Legoland parks for life.

Legoland Florida has ten on-site restaurants.  The menus are varied, with some restaurants serving full meals and others focusing on specialty items such as apple fries and ice cream.  Legoland also has a gluten and allergen free menu available for guests that have special dietary restrictions.

Legoland Florida generally operates from 10:00 AM until 5:00 PM on most autumn and winter days.  From November through the middle of December 2011, Legoland will be closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, but will stay open until 6:00 PM until Christmas.  From December 26 through January 1, 2012 the park will remain open until 7:00 PM.  Beginning on January 8, 2012, the park again operates from 10:00 AM until 5:00 PM each day, and will be closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.  Legoland’s hours are extended until 8:00 PM during the summer months.
